Child Protection and Safety
We need to eliminate the statute of limitations, both civil and criminal, for any sex crime that is perpetrated against a child. I will strengthen sentences for these crimes and have absolute sentencing guidelines, including the removal of probation for the first offense.
Border Protection
Texas needs to employ any and all legal means at its disposal, that are humane, to protect our border with Mexico, in the absence, inability or unwillingness of the United States Federal and Mexican governments to do so.
No Vouchers!
School Vouchers? Not on my watch. We need to stand up and support our public school students and teachers by not cannibalizing them. And the surplus? Give it back to where it belongs, in OUR schools.
